As a member of Parent Assembly #1, you’ll join monthly gatherings where magicians come together to teach, learn, share secrets, and elevate their craft.

• Themed magic sessions after each meeting—cards, coins, ropes, silks, mentalism, and more, where members dive deep into specialized areas of the art.
• After-meeting stage shows, open to the public, giving you the chance to perform or watch fellow members shine.
• Lectures from world-class magicians, sharing techniques, insights, and effects—free for all members.
• Our annual auction, where you can buy and sell props, books, DVDs, and rare magic treasures.
• Spellbinder, our monthly newsletter filled with news, notes, and highlights from the Assembly.
• Pre-meeting teach-ins (with pizza) where members trade secrets, mentor one another, and explore new material.

Saturday Table
The club meets every Saturday for a lively magic jam where members share new tricks, refine routines, and help each other crack problems they’ve been stuck on for months.
You might walk away with a book from someone’s historic collection, advice from a working magician about real-world gigs, or inspiration from seeing many different styles of magic—plus the warmth of a friendly, supportive community that loves helping one another grow.
Magic Conferences and Shows
Beyond our weekly gatherings, members often team up to attend some of the biggest magic events in the world. In recent years, groups from the Assembly have traveled together to Magic Live in Las Vegas, Magifest in Columbus, Vanishing Inc.’s magic trips, and even the Magic Castle Cruise—always optional, but made far more fun when you’re surrounded by friends who share your passion.
We also organize group outings to magic shows, including performances by Harrison Greenbaum and Joshua Jay, as well as lectures and special events at Tannen’s Magic. Whether you’re attending a major convention or catching a show in the city, being part of PA1 means you’ll always have fellow magicians to share the experience with.
