The Salute to Magic, presented by Parent Assembly #1 of the Society of American Magicians, has brought luminaries of magic to New York audiences for decades and this year is no exception!
This year we celebrate our 117th Salute to Magic and this year’s Magician of the Year, Rudy Coby. Parent Assembly #1 is also proud to bring this evening of magic to you from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, in the Bruno Walter Auditorium. Eric DeCamps
Eric DeCamps is the personification of a magician.
Debonair and engaging, enchanting and mystifying—his performances are filled with
compelling stories and stunning visual artistry.
With a signature style of intimate conjuring,
Mr. DeCamps invites his audience to become part of the performance, leading them step by step through moments that defy explanation.
He is one of only two magicians in the 124-year history of the Society of American Magicians to be awarded the Gold Medal of Excellence for Close-Up Magic.
His accolades also include the Milbourne Christopher Foundation Award, Backstage
Magazine’s Bistro Award for Variety Artist of the Year, the New York Magic Conference Lifetime Achievement Award.
He has also one of the only magicians ever to be honored twice by the prestigious 4F Magic Convention: in 2023 as the 4F MVP and in 2025 as the Guest of Honor. -
Joe Garsetti
Joe Garsetti, a talented magician and illusionist from Sparta, NJ, is renowned for his captivating performances that seamlessly blend illusions, manipulation, comedy, and audience participation. His award-winning dove act has garnered significant recognition within the magic community. Joe’s performances have graced venues across the country, from the Seattle Aquarium and Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas to state fairs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Idaho.
Recent career highlights include appearances at the prestigious “4F” Close-Up Magic Convention in Buffalo, NY, as well as a full-scale illusion show at the renowned Smoke and Mirrors Theater in Glenside, PA. Smoke and Mirrors, a 101-seat magic theater, is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious venues for magicians in the country. Joe will return to perform at this iconic theater in June of 2026.
Recognized as a "triple threat" in the magic world, Joe excels in close-up magic, stage performances, and grand illusions. His shows are infused with energy, humor, and personal anecdotes from his upbringing in Huntington, Long Island. In addition to performing, Joe is also a skilled designer and builder of many of his own illusions, demonstrating his creativity and craftsmanship.
In 2010, Joe and his wife, Diane, took a bold step by purchasing a dilapidated firehouse building in Sparta, NJ. After two years of extensive renovations, they transformed the space into the Sparta Ave Stage, an intimate 66-seat theater that opened its doors in 2012. This beloved venue quickly became a hub for magicians, comedians, and other performers. Over the years, the Sparta Ave Stage has hosted some of the world’s finest magicians from Australia, France, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and England.
The Sparta Ave Stage has earned a stellar reputation in the magic community, with many magicians considering it one of the finest venues in the country for magical performances. Its cozy and personal atmosphere makes it the perfect setting for an unforgettable magic experience, making it a must-visit destination for magic enthusiasts.

Devlin
Meet "DEVLIN", a lifelong professional multi award winning magician based in Brooklyn, New York. With over four decades of enchanting audiences globally, from Las Vegas to Tokyo, Devlin masterfully blends classic sleight-of-hand with innovative illusions.
Devlin who was awarded the New York Parent Assembly of the Society of American Magicians highest honor, “Magician of the Year”, and now holds office as the organizations past President 2023-2024.
He has appeared (and disappeared!) on stages around the world, from Las Vegas to Hollywood’s famed Magic Castle. Devlin has been invited by the "Chinese Acrobats Association" to appear in China and has also appeared in Italy, Germany, Cyprus and Aruba.
He has headlined in his own shows at Bally’s Grand, Claridge and Sands Casino in Atlantic City, along with the Wyndham Crystal Palace Casino in
Nassau, Bahamas.
His dedication to his craft has led him to win the coveted “Back Stage Magazine” award for Excellence in Cabaret as well as "The Jack Gwynne Award" for Magical Excellence.
He was a two-time finalist for the “International Brotherhood of Magicians” Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Magic and is a three time recipient of (the magic world’s Oscar) the Merlin Award.
His many TV appearances include playing himself on ABC’s daytime drama “All MY CHILDREN” leading to national exposure.
He is a star attraction on many luxury ocean liners, and his numerous performances onboard have taken him to all seven continents. He was
chosen to appear and consult on A&E network's Number one hit show "Mindfreak" Season 6, watched in over 90 countries.
Recently Devlin was hand picked to consult and create magic on the first season of Criss Angels "Believe" for Spike television and also “Tricked up” for A&E. Most recently Devlin was awarded the coveted “Milbourne Christopher award” for “Notable contribution to the art of magic” as
“Illusionist of the year” 2021.
In 2022 he was a featured consultant and performer in “Amystica” at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas casino, and can also be seen as an on-camera coach, in “Criss Angel’s magic with the stars” T.V. Show, on the CW network.

AnnaRose
AnnaRose Einarsen has bloomed in the world of Magic since beginning her career in Iowa as a stage hypnotist.
Following her role as resident hypnotist at the Paris Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas strip, she branched out from her hypnosis roots and embraced magic while immersed in Vegas’ entertainment scene.
AnnaRose’s comedic style and stage presence bring a sense of humanness and realness that only enhance the deceptiveness of her magic which include classic effects and original creations.
In addition to a calendar decorated with renowned venues such as the Chicago Magic Lounge, the Magic Castle in Hollywood, and a diverse mix of corporate clientele, she’s been a cast member in multiple productions.
She was an original performer in Late Night Magic in Las Vegas and lead magician in Speigelworld’s Lady Magic which performed a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last season. She is a current resident magician at the Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio on the Las Vegas strip where she proves her dynamism by bringing her stage style and skill to audiences close up.
She has appeared on NBC’s The Today Show, the national coverage of Super Bowl LVIII on CBS, both Penn & Teller’s: Fool Us & Master’s of Illusion on the CW Network, and Antique’s Roadshow on PBS. She has been featured in multiple publications including the international magic magazine, Vanish as well as the New York Times and The New Yorker.
She views being a magician not only as her job but also her vocation. She builds on that foundation in every performance with a quirky, fun, flare.

Wayne Allen
Wayne Alan is America’s World Champion Magician/ Illusionist, being the only American to win the prestigious Gold Medal for Grand Illusion at FISM, back in 1982; considered the World Olympics of Magic.
Mr. Alan has headlined Hollywood's famous magic show "It's Magic" and has performed 13 times at the White House.
On TV he has appeared with Oprah Winfrey, Larry King and Maury Povich; and magically produced Will Smith for MTV. He has performed on Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Good Morning America and on the ABC, NBC and CBS Network News programs.
Mr. Alan has been a technical consultant for the David Copperfield and has provided illusions to Criss Angel.
Wayne Alan is one of the world's leading authorities on Harry Houdini. Throughout his career as a full-time professional magician he has created several of Houdini's most famous escapes and illusions. His new book "HOUDINI-The Inside Story of his Life and Legend" is to be released this year, the 100th anniversary of the death of Houdini. He is also the author of the best selling cookbook, "Magical Meatless Meals, Famous Foods from Famous People and Places".
Wayne just might be the most famous magician that you’ve never heard. For over 40 years he specialized in Magic as a Corporate Illusionist®, performing around the world at trade shows and sales meetings for Fortune 500 companies; all under the radar of the general public, and even most Magicians.
Following his life long passion to perform in his own theater, he now owns and operates the Historic Art Moderne North Theatre in Danville, Virginia.

Rudy Coby
Rudy Coby, who gained national attention with his character “Labman,” has earned the title of “The Coolest Magician on Earth." In the early 1990s, Coby appeared in several theatrical live shows and on television. He was known for his electric and original comedic performances in which stage magic plays a large part. In the mid-1990s, Coby and his troupe of illusionist comrades performed in the Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit for an unprecedented thirteen weeks. He is a magician, actor, writer and illustrator, also known for his television network specials: The Rudy Coby Show (1994), Rudy Coby: The Coolest Magician on Earth (1995) and Rudy Coby: Ridiculously Dangerous (1996). These shows captivated his audiences with a nonstop barrage of Penn & Teller-like creative comedic stunts, clever science gadgets and slapstick-laden magic tricks.
Rudy performed for many years at the renowned Paris venue, The Crazy Horse. His magic has taken him all over the world, including performing in a tour of dozens of cities in China with renowned magicians Luna Shimada and Mike Miller. He has also been in great demand as a world-wide lecturer on “Creativity and Magic” and has published a series of lecture notes, entitled "How to Become a World Famous Magician." Having never forgotten his roots, he always makes time to share his creative approach to Magic with aspiring young Magicians. He has been a member of the Magic Castle in Los Angeles for many years, and has performed there countless times over the last three decades. He has also curated special week-long themed performances with other like-minded entertainers. Rudy now performs at the Magic Castle on a regular basis.
